i don't know what i'm looking for
i just know that it's not here
i don't know what i'm looking for
i just know that it's not in here anymore

inner peace
It's not something you can order in, like pizza supreme.
Inner peace happens to you in small, but extraordinary moments. Like when you find two matching socks in the dryer. Or when the checkbook balances.
Or when you've just had your oil changed.
Inner peace is a kind of silence within -- within the bathroom, within the car, within the hall closet... anywhere you can hide.
No one under the age of thirty has inner peace.
After that, it can come over you at anytime, like hiccups or deja vu.
Inner peace is as elusive as an ATM passcode... as mysterious as the buttons on a VCR... as normal as peanut butter.
Don't worry about getting it. And you'll get it.
